"One of our favorite activities is to
sail for a couple of hours and then "run into" a local sandbar for picnic
lunch or a dinner cookout. Tom Cat is easy to beach and launch, making a
entire day on the water typical. To beach her, we rig a yoke anchor line
and tie up the rudders to ease the wave action while beached".
