A glassy calm lake welcomes our TomCat 9.7 as the throttles of the twin Yamaha 9.9 hp motors are opened for the first time. The motor angles have been set to counteract the tendency of most catamarans to "squat" stern down under power.Motoring speed was 9 knots.
