The next day we were reduced to measuring things like 1 knot of boat speed in 1 1/2 knots true wind. Interesting but not very exciting. We sailed with board and rudders both up and the boat worked well with only 18 inches of total draft. It was a little slower to turn on the tacks because of the long shallow keel effect with the centerboard up (8 ft long and 1 1/2 ft deep) but all systems worked as predicted.
