Another point of view showing the relationship between the helm, companionways and salon. The opening hatch on the front face of the hardtop gives excellent airflow to both the salon and the helmsperson. The step beam across the floor between the cockpit and the salon is the main lateral conduit for hoses and cables, and also provides splash protection from rain or spray.
